Safer Internet Day: Free digital skills training for adults in Thurrock

Digital skills are now essential at  any age for living and working in today’s world whether communicating with your communities, accessing information, talking to health providers, supporting children/grandchildren, sorting your finances or problem solving. A free ‘Develop Your Digital Skills’ course for adults will support you to improve your confidence using a computer or device and learn how to stay safe online. Twenty-two percent of Thurrock’s residents are digitally excluded. This may be because they either do not have suitable equipment, an internet connection, or do not have the skills or confidence to get online safely. The College is also running an ‘Essential Digital Skills’ course for complete beginners.
