Former Eskom manager asks for fraud charges to be removed
A former Eskom senior manager wants the court to strike the tax fraud charges he is facing in from the court roll.
Former Eskom senior manager, France Hlakudi, who is facing corruption charges related to the R745 million Kusile project argued in court on Wednesday that his tax fraud charges be removed from his additional tax evasion case.
Hlakudi’s attorney, Pieter Coetzee, argued in the Pretoria Regional Court before magistrate Adriaan Bekker, that the fraud charges should not be applicable in the matter and should be struck off the roll before the case proceeded to trial.
