Sentencing proceedings in the case against a hitman who killed African National Congress (ANC) councillor Thami Nyembe in Nongoma has been postponed to December.
Fisokuhle Ntuli has been convicted of six counts of murder, one count of attempted murder, two counts of possession of a prohibited firearm and two counts of unlawful possession of ammunition. One of his victims was ANC ward councillor Goodwill Bheki Nyembe.
Fisokuhle Ntuli was found guilty and convicted on six counts of murder, one count of attempted murder and four counts of possessing an unlicensed firearm by the Esikhaleni Regional Court in Richards Bay on Monday.
