ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) A woman from Greece is recovering after a Wednesday night shooting in Rochester. Police say it happened near Hudson Avenue and Ernst Street just after 10:30 p.m.
Officers responded to a call of shots fired where a large group was blocking traffic. When police got there, the crowd had broken up and they found the 18-year-old victim.
She is expected to survive.
Hudson avenue has also been re-opened.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) Tenants of a Rochester home are safe after flames tore through a home Sunday night.
Crews went to the scene at Ernst Street near North Street just after 6:00 p.m. for a reported porch fire. When firefighters got there, they say they saw flames coming out of both the first and second floors.
Eventually, the fire was put out, but it did cause significant damage to the home. Nobody was hurt.
The Red Cross is assisting the tenants, and crews are still working to determine what caused the fire.
