Maritzburg United coach Ernst Middendorp says Mamelodi Sundowns quality to came to fore on Wednesday afternoon.
The Team of Choice succumbed to a penalty from Ricardo Nascimento and a second-half strike from Gift Motupa, with Middendorp acknowledging the gulf in quality.
“It was quite easy. I think two to three situations in the game, we were lucky not to concede but then all of a sudden, then I think we had three really good opportunities out of our pressing moments going into the final third and out of this three opportunities then you have to score, you have to make it,” Middendorp told SuperSport TV.

Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt has conceded that their hopes of a top-eight finish in the DStv Premiership are hanging by a thread, with another obstacle on the horizon.
