Hilburn Calhoon Harper Pruniski & Calhoun Ltd. of North Little Rock has changed its name to Hilburn & Harper Ltd. The firm has experienced several significant internal events in the last two-and-a-half years, including the very untimely passing of Jack Pruniski in 2018 and the subsequent retirements of both John Calhoun and Ken Calhoun, Ernie Harper, a partner at the firm, said in a statement emailed to Arkansas Business. We accordingly thought this to be a fitting time for us to both reaffirm and renew our commitment to our clients, a commitment that began with the firm’s founding almost 50 years ago, and, at the same time, put forward the increased leadership role the next generation of lawyers in the firm must play in today’s evolving legal world.
