The Commission on Elections will now be able to render decisions on poll-related petitions, Comelec Chairman George Garcia assured the public yesterday as he noted the appointments of Commissioners Ernesto Ferdinand Maceda Jr. and Ernesto Celis.
The Commission on Elections confirmed yesterday the appointment of Ernesto Ferdinand Maceda Jr. and the reappointment of Ernesto Celis as new commissioners of the poll body, a few months before the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan polls in December this year.
