Community advocate Ernest Tiger Claybon III has announced a bid for the District 3 Montgomery City Council seat that was held by Tracy Larkin. Claybon is a retired Alabama Department of Corrections officer who served in the U.S. Army. He s on the Alabama Region V Perinatal Council advisory committee and serves on the executive committee of the Montgomery County Democratic Party. I want to use my experience to work for the people of District 3, Claybon said in a release. I want to ensure the constitutional rights of our citizens are protected.
