Upper West Police seize 350 parcels of ‘wee’

The Upper West Regional Police Command on Saturday seized 350 parcels of compressed dry leaves, suspected to be marijuana (‘Wee’), at carpenter, along the Bamboi-Bole Highway, in the Savannah Region.
The dry leaves, which were parceled with hard paper and concealed in sacks, were loaded in the booth of an O.A Bus with registration number AS-2914-21, travelling from Accra to Wa.
The Savannah Region Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), Sergeant Agyekum Owusu, who confirmed the seizure to the Ghanaian Times, said upon a tip-off, a highway patrol team of the Police Command inspected the bus and discovered suspected narcotic substances, in the booth of the bus.

“An order compelling 2nd Defendant [UTV] to remove from its archives, be it electronic or of whatever form, the said defamatory statements; Damages of GH¢300,000 and GH¢10,000.”
“These acts of his make me regret more my conduct and I say without reservation that I am sincerely sorry for what I said about him,” his apology reads further.
