We are entering prime “May Gray” season in Los Angeles en route to “June Gloom,” “No-Sky July, and, potentially “Fogust.” But the real forecast we’re interested in involves what’s happening this weekend. There’s plenty going on around the city, from rooftop comedy shows to art exhibitions, pop-up dinners and a Dodgers homestand with their newly-announced hot dogs supplanted.
Neuehouse (Hollywood)
For the uninitiated, NeueHouse is a private work and social space for creatives to connect. Open to non-members, their new Still Standing comedy series takes place on the Hollywood venue’s third floor open-air terrace and features tacos and margaritas from Broken Spanish on top of some of LA’s best comics. This Friday catch Doug Benson, Caroline Rhea, and James Davis or pick up tickets for May 21 with Kevin Nealon and Arden Myrin.
