Evangel Hosting International Worship Service

The Evangel University Orchestras and EU worship team will present an International Worship Service and Celebration on Sunday, April 25, at 2 p.m. in Spence Chapel on EU’s campus.
The service is free and open to the public. The event will also be livestreamed on Evangel’s Youtube channel.
As part of the service, EU’s musical groups will be joined virtually by musicians from Vienna Christian Center in Vienna, Austria, a children’s choir from Brussels Christian Center in Brussels, Belgium, and the Eagle Echoes Honor Choir in Purdy, MO to provide an international celebration of music and worship.

Missouri State altered plans for its May commencement so graduates can celebrate the accomplishment in person and in a timely fashion.
Nearly a year ago, colleges and universities in the Springfield area were struggling with the decision to postpone, cancel or dramatically pare down the annual celebrations. All those options were employed.
MSU President Clif Smart recently sought permission from the Board of Governors to move its May meeting up. The committee meetings will take place Wednesday, May 12 with the full board meeting occurring the morning of Thursday, May. 13.
