The Diocese of Stockton, California, has issued a warning about a pair of imposters posing as Catholic clergymen in the city of Modesto and charging high fees .
A spokesperson for the Diocese of Stockton said that the false clergymen were charging thousands of dollars for their services, primarily preying on migrants.
The diocese said two unidentified men are using the names of actual priests from Mexico: Archbishop Raúl Gómez González and Father José Adán González Estrada.
