The number of Bigg’s killer whales in the Salish Sea has reached an all-time annual high, with 1,271 “unique” sightings of the orcas through to Oct. 31
According to the Pacific Whale Watch Association and Orca Behavior Institute, there were 1,270 unique sightings of the mammal-hunting killer whales between January and October.
