LOUDONVILLE The Mohican Area Community Fund, the Loudonville-Perrysville area’s version of a United Appeal-type organization, has surpassed its 2021 campaign goal of $90,000.
The campaign proceeds will be divided among 33 local, area and national nonprofit agencies.
Speaking at the Jan. 28 meeting of the Rotary Club of Loudonville, MACF President Jane Stoops reported that as of that day $91,441 had been contributed, adding “we expect money to continue to come in through the end of February. We still haven’t received some of our share of donations and pledges from area industries that are collected by the United Way of Ashland County.”
