The fall 2019 anime adaptation of the
Magical Sempai manga saw its simulcast through Crunchyroll and the manga was previously picked up by Kodansha Comics. Back in June 2020, original creator AZU has revealed that the series will be ending soon with the eighth volume being the final one. The seventh volume saw a July 6th, 2020 debut so we’ve got a bit to go before it comes. AZU made clear in his tweet that this is not a cancellation but rather a planned ending.
Now, the latest installment of Young Magazine has arrived where it’s serialized and it’s revealed that the series is set to end in two chapters, which should place it to the February 1st, 2021 release of the magazine. Check out AZU’s New Year’s celebratory tweet below for the series!
