Richard Poll, 41, was arrested after a woman told police he strangled her and choked her during an argument on May 4, the complaint said. The woman told police the argument with Poll began over work, and she tried to avoid a fight by walking into another room of the residence. Poll followed her and began yelling and throwing things around the bedroom.  Poll pushed the woman onto a bed and choked her and placed both hands over her mouth and nose, preventing her from breathing, the complaint said.

The owner of the store said several items were taken from the shop and he would make a list for the officers, the complaint said.  Surveillance footage from earlier that day showed two men enter the store at around 1:42 a.m. They moved a camera down with a skateboard, then entered the establishment. They left with three black boxes, a beige skateboard, and a brown cardboard box filled with miscellaneous items, the complaint said.
