Registration for Franklin County Youth Football and Franklin County Youth Cheer is underway.
For football, athletes can register for the Peewee Division (grades 3-4), Junior Division (grades 5-6) and senior division (grades 7-8). For cheer, athletes can register for Peewee Cheer (grades K-2), Junior Cheer (grades 3-5) and Senior Cheer (grades 6-8).

The second annual Fairview Farms Mother’s Day Plant Sale to support Frontier baseball will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. outdoors at the South Deerfield Senior Center.
There will be a wide selection of 10-12 inch hanging baskets and patio pots along with various annuals, round pots and bedding plants.
Safety and social distancing measures will be in place.

MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. – Even for someone who’s won as much as Stephan Jaeger, nerves inevitably creep in come the back nine on a Sunday. Jaeger pulled his drive into the water on the par-4 11th, but saved a bogey, bounced back with a birdie at No. 12, and eventually survived a playoff with David Lipsky to win the Emerald Coast Classic at Sandestin and capture the sixth title of his Korn Ferry Tour career.
Jaeger, a PGA TOUR Latinoamérica alum, carded a 4-under 66 with six birdies and two bogeys. The Munich, Germany native made his second bogey at the 522-yard 11th, which once again played into the wind was Raven Golf Club’s toughest hole.
