Following an unexpected week off from competing, the Summit High School track and field team returned to the track for the Erie Tiger Twilight Invitational in the early afternoon and evening hours of Friday, March.
After having several strong performances at the Runners Roost of Fort Collins Invitational last week, the Summit High School Tigers track and field team traveled to Erie to compete in the Erie Twilight Invitational on.
It did not take Ella Hagen long to make her mark on the Summit High School track and field program. The freshman broke an 18-year-old school record in the 1,600-meter run at the Runners Roost.
Summit High School’s track and field team is practicing indoors due to the recent snow storms, but that doesn’t mean track season isn’t underway. In fact, the team’s first track meet is slated for this.
