Avon Middle School, 3445 Long Road, rang in the new school year with a ribbon-cutting Aug. 23 for its new turf field, according to Avon Local Schools officials.
All 13 coaches will be recognized with an on-field ceremony at halftime Sunday of the Browns’ game at FirstEnergy Stadium, and the winner will receive $5,000 for their high school football program and a custom jersey
