Erica explained she wanted to talk about how everything came together sooner, but her mother, who teared up when she realised Cher was on the line, has been in a lot of pain .
She added: I m sorry it took me so long to share the story of how this all came about, because it is the best story ever. My mom has been in a lot of pain, so we ve just been dealing with a lot of pain management issues and focusing on that, so that is why I have not told the greatest story of all time.
Erica - who is in a relationship with FOX Sports WWE Analyst Ryan Satin - âlater revealed the 74-year-old pop superstar had a long chat with Robin, and she s already thinking of ways to top her big surprise.

Cher just made a tremendous gesture of one of her special fans who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
Early in the week,
Robin, who Erica says is “Cher’s biggest fan.”
Robin was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s. Her daughter Erica describes the FaceTime call as her mom’s “best moment ever.”
Erica tweeted: “I still can t believe this really happened I m shaaaaaking, Erica tweeted with the crying emoji. They had a whole ten minute conversation.
Erica says her mom has been a Cher fan since her childhood. Erica says, “Cher is basically another caregiver in our house - her presence consistently calms my mom when she s frustrated or sad.

The ‘Believe’ singer shared a special moment with Erica Steiner’s mother Robin – who has the dementia-inducing brain condition – chatting to her for almost eight minutes.
Alongside a TikTok clip of the sweet exchange, Erica wrote on Twitter: “My mom has Alzheimer’s and is @cher’s biggest fan.
“Well today Cher surprised her with a call. Best. Moment. Ever.”
