Drug overdose deaths on the rise in Butte County

OROVILLE, Calif. - Drug overdose deaths are increasing in Butte County. The new commander of the Butte Interagency Narcotics Task Force (BINTF), Michael O’Brien revealed the data this week, seeing alarming numbers with methamphetamine and fentanyl.
The number of overdose deaths in Butte County is similar to trends across the state and and the nation.
