“Erica closely relates with my view on how to solve the issues facing our county," said Tim Clements. "Some people are trying to portray Erica as being far left. After speaking to her several times, I find her to have similar moderate objectives and is a candidate that will best represent our district.”
Becker County incumbent Commissioner Ben Grimsley came in first in the Becker County Board race for District 2, with challenger David Meyer coming in a solid second. And Craig Hall and Erica Jepson advanced in race for District 1 Becker County Board seat.
Second-place winner Erica Jepson of Evergreen Township collected 438 votes, or 31%, to squeak out a tight win over Osage Township supervisor Tim Clements, who received 402 votes, or 28% with all precincts reporting.
