COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) â The Coldwater Cardinals scored early and often as they swept a Interstate 8 doubleheader from Jackson Lumen Christi by scores of 15-0 and 21-0.
Because of the mercy rule, both games only went three innings.
Alexis Bills threw a perfect game in the opening game as she recorded seven strikeouts. Bills also had three of Coldwaterâs 13 hits and drove in six runs. Erica Hurst had four RBIâs while Karlie Knisely had three RBIâs.
Mia Rzepka was the winning pitcher in the second game as she was backed by a 14 hit attack. Bills and Brooklyn Kerry both drove in three runs.
