If you do not have a ‘ snow shovel’, check with a neighbor and offer to shovel their walks also. During my years as a mail carrier, it amazed me that days went by without shoveling. Trust me, the sooner you get at it, the better…once people walk on uncovered walks, the harder it is to shovel AND the next day it is uneven and slicker!! Kids can buddy up and get a neighborhood done and still enjoy an afternoon of snowplay…and if you are the recipient of some kid’s efforts, try to give them some money…and please do not expect your mail to be delivered if you have not given them a cleared and safe path….it is rough out there!!! I would love to hear about any kids shoveling out their neighbors! Oh yeah…the reason ‘ snow shovel’ is in quotes…any shovel that will move snow IS a snow shovel!!
