On Wednesday, November 2nd, poetry lovers will come together for the return of Ohio-based poet George Bilgere for the Dorothy Patterson Poetry Series. The award-winning poet will sign copies of his new book, Central Air, following the reading.
Poetry was in full swing today on High Plains Morning when Dr. Eric Meljac stopped by with slam poet Ray McNiece, who will perform tonight in Canyon, TX at WTAMU's Dorothy Patterson Poetry Series.

CANYON Claudia Stuart, West Texas A&M University professor emeritus of sociology and criminal justice, will share her latest works of poetry during a special Zoom reading.
Stuart is the second poet to be featured in Dorothy Patterson Poetry Series, established in 2020 and named for a prominent Amarillo philanthropist and longtime donor to WT.
