Chargers coach Eric Kjar has been named one of four finalists All-American Bowl Coach of the Year, an award given annually to the top coach in high school football by the All-American Bowl selection committee.
Kjar is the only semifinalist from Utah, and the western-most candidate, joining John Kay of North Shore Senior in Houston; Eric Moore of Center Grove in Greenwood, Indiana; and Tom Roken of St. Joseph s Prep in Philadelphia.
The award will be announced Tuesday, Dec. 29.
