Anthime Joseph Gionet, a far-right media personality nicknamed âBaked Alaskaâ who is known for livestreaming himself participating in illegal activity, was arrested by the FBI on Friday and accused of illegally storming the Capitol during the attack on the building by President Donald Trumpâs supporters last week.
Gionet, who has been banned from Twitter and YouTube for his content, livestreamed himself in the mob on DLive, a streaming service becoming more popular after a mass exodus of right-wing figures from more mainstream platforms. He posted a video that showed supporters of Trump taking selfies with officers in the Capitol who calmly asked them to leave the premises. The video showed the Trump supporters talking among themselves, laughing, and telling the officers and each other: âThis is only the beginning.â
Like son, like mother? A woman has followed her child to being a defendant in the D.C. insurrection. Lisa Marie Eisenhart was arrested Saturday in Tennessee, according to The Department of Justice. This happens a week after her son Eric Gavelek Munchel, 30, was charged as an individual seen on the Senate floor holding zip tie restraints, which authorities described as flex cuffs. NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WMC) - A Nashville man is the latest Tennessee arrest to come from the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
FBI agents took Blake Reed into custody around 6 a.m. Sunday at his home in the Wedgewood-Houston community.
“I looked out the window and saw flashing lights and folks in assault-style military gear,” neighbor Brice McCloud told our Nashville NBC affiliate, WSMV. “The guy who lives there has always been super friendly to us.”

GALLATIN, Tenn. (WTVF) â A Gallatin man has been arrested for his role in the January 6 United States Capitol riot.
The United States Department of Justice said FBI agents received a tip that a man who appears in a social media video participating in the riot is Jack Jesse Griffith. Identified by the informant as Facebook user Juan Bibiano, Griffith is seen in the video with Matthew Bledsoe, who was arrested in Memphis for his connection to the riot earlier in the week.
