Nonetheless take a look after midnight tonight we have a Winter Weather advisory in the northern suburbs through the peculiars, through noon tomorrow because we are expecting temperatures to plunge overnight and front arrives that brings rain that changes over to wet snow. That snow will come toward millville and wildwood. The reason we dont have the advisory south is because surface temperatures will rape above freezing and the snow will melt on the roads. Temperatures not bad for this time of the year. 50 degrees, youll want a jacket as you look at the numbers across the region because theres a bit of a breeze blowing. Were at 10 Miles Per Hour in philadelphia. Thats adding to a bit of a chill. But we go into the afternoon, things look good. Noon, 58. 3 00 p. Well watch this area of low pressure in the lower midwest move to our south but that plume of moisture will expand and it will be cold enough with an arctic front moving through to see rain rapidly change to snow during the Early Morning hours. As we go hour by hour you can see the clear skies with clouds building to the west. The clouds move in late tonight. Rain moves in and then changes over to snow very rapidly. All snow in the poconos Lehigh Valley and reading by 5 00 a. M. Right along i9 i95 corridor rn changing to snow even in Philadelphia National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather advisory to the north and west of the city into the poconos for accumulating snow and it will begin to stick once again during the morning and maybe some snow squalls even in the afternoon. Pressure ride along a frontal bound dream this is going to expand a plume of snow right in time for the morning rush. So most of this sticking to the grassy surfaces at first especially around philadelphia. To the north and west, well see eight accumulate on untreated surface in the Lehigh Valley and the poconos for sure. By about 5am you can see the snow in the Lehigh Valley. Then by about six, seven it moves toward philadelphia around 8 00 a. M. Right through the ci city. And then it sweeps on out. Rather quickly by noon its pretty much out of here. That area of low pressure intensifies off the coast and we run a risk few snow squalls in the afternoon. Winter weather advisory until noon for about two to 4inches of snow. Coming up well talk about those specific snow amounts. A biting wind chill and guess what, next week, there is potential for a coastal snowstorm it it would be the biggest of the entire season, lucy, in mid march. Isnt that how it goes . All right.
