Sound Ancestors album, arranged by Four Tet, finally arrives this Friday, and it sounds like there is plenty more music where that came from namely, a collaborative record between the revered producer and bass wizard Thundercat.

Sound Ancestors collaborators points to a potential release slate following that record s arrival, as Madlib hopes to start releasing a new album every month through his Madlib Invazion label.
As for what these new arrivals could be, author Eric Ducker writes toward the end of the piece that during their conversation, Madlib offhandedly mentioned collections he s put together based around both calypso and industrial music, material he recorded with Brazilian artists and an indie rock album made with the jazz-funk weirdo Thundercat.
