Dimapur, June 3 (EMN): The deputy chief minister, Y Patton, inaugurated the Tsungiki village council hall in Wokha district in the presence of elders and leaders of the village and from Chukitong range on June 2. Addressing the public at the inaugural programme, Patton stated that village councils could play a proactive role in formulating plans and projects for the village. He, therefore, urged the village councils to work hand-in-hand with the village development board for betterment of education, agriculture and communitisation of water supplies and electricity. He also appreciated the council and the villagers for their unified stand in all activities and assured them of all possible help even in future, an update from deputy CMO media cell stated.
