Some hope came for the family today, as police announced they arrested a suspect. Surveillance video from inside the store was critical. The photograph of the suspect was circulated around the police department. And detectives from the gang Investigations Unit and burglary unit immediately noticed some similarities to a suspect in a recent burglary investigation. Reporter those detectives identified him as 21yearold muni hendricks. Police contacted his probation officer and served a search warrant where they found hendricks. Police say he had been trying to selml merchandise he was wearin when lee was shot. In the 25 plus years that ive been with the San Jose Police department, that this is one of the best examples of team work, dedication, collaboration, and investigative skill that ive ever seen.
