Local and State Police responded to an “accidental incident” between a child and a dog Saturday in Epsom.
Few other details were released. There was no threat to the public, and criminal activity was not involved, police said.
Authorities would not comment on any injuries potentially suffered inside the home.
The scene at 130 Old Town Road Ext was busy in the early afternoon, attracting two Epsom police SUVs, three black, unmarked state police cruisers, and an SUV and ambulance from the Epsom Fire Department.
Having witnessed the public hearing on House Bill 571, I implore those considering the merits of this legislation to review the evidence carefully. This bill, introduced by Rep. Tom Walsh of Hooksett, negatively impacts residents near Hoit Road Marsh,.

Letter: This ‘My Turn’ didn’t age well

It was amusing to this consumer of “liberal media” to see the point of Rep. Mike Moffett’s Jan. 3 “My Turn” column turned on its head by the events of the past week.
His attempt at demonstrating the dangers of both conservative and liberal bias requires him to go back nearly a century and to another country in order to find a case against conservative media. He cites the failure of the British conservative Tory media to warn against the rise of an authoritarian whose career begins in earnest with the burning of the Reichstag, the German seat of government. Nazism and World War II follow.
