When Are El Paso Area School Districts Spring Breaks This Year?

When COVID-19 hit in March, school districts all over El Paso extended their spring breaks, then extended them again, and then finally gave up and tried to finish out the year with a hastily arranged online learning schedule.

We were told at the beginning of the year they wanted to wait until the Martin Luther King holiday to decide whether or not they would reopen schools. The reasoning behind this was to see if there was a spike in cases from the holidays. As the numbers continue to go up, schools did open and they will remain open.
Interim Superintendent Vince Sheffield sent out an email to parents explaining this. Bare with me, it is lengthy:
I gathered the most common issues teachers had about EPISD reopening and Gustavo Reveles, Director of Community Engagement for EPISD, was able to answer those concerns.
