SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE Sunday, 10am, Princeton University Chapel Join us each Sunday for worship in the University Chapel, led by the dean and the associate dean of religious life and of the chapel, that draws students, faculty, staff, and townspeople together to hear God’s word, to sing God’s praise, to lift up the University in prayer. Each season, marvelous guest preachers are invited to preach in the chapel as well. We hope you can join us! All persons, including members of the broader community, are welcome to attend this event if they are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 if over age 12. Registration is required for contact tracing purposes. Face coverings are optional in most University spaces, with some exceptions. Details may be found here. Episcopal Charities of the Diocese of New York today announced that Rev. Kevin W. VanHook, II has joined Episcopal Charities as Executive Director, effective May 12, 2021. The organization also recently received a $1 million anonymous donation, marking the largest single gift in its history.
Rev. Kevin W. VanHook, II brings pastoral leadership experience with action-oriented, grassroots ministries to the organization, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. He has joined Episcopal Charities from The Riverside Church in the City of New York, where he served as Minister of Justice, Advocacy and Change since 2018. In that role, Rev. VanHook developed and implemented programming with a focus on social justice and its theological roots and will provide mission-based strategic planning for Episcopal Charities.
