NORFOLK, Va. An Ocean View community remains shaken by the death of a young woman and child - but perhaps none more so than the neighbor who heard it all unfold, and called police.
“Two innocent people lost their lives right above my head,” the woman said. “And I am having the worst time setting it into reality.”
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, lives in an apartment complex in the 9500 block of Sixth Bay St.

NORFOLK, Va. â Police have charged Duwayne Warren, 26, of Norfolk, with two counts of second degree murder after a 22-year-old woman and a 3-month-old infant were both found unresponsive inside their home Tuesday.
According to a news release, at the scene, officers found that Epifani Andrews and the 3-month-old boy were both suffering from life-threatening injuries, and both were pronounced deceased.
Police took Warren into custody on-scene and he is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
The investigation is ongoing and detectives have not released a motive or the circumstances surrounding this incident.
