Following on the heels of its lawsuit against Apple in the US, which was brought in August 2020 and is still in progress, Epic has now also sued the company in the UK, Bloomberg reports.
Epic has lodged a complaint with the Competition Appeal Tribunal in London, which handles appeals against decisions made by the British competition authority CMA but also hears private lawsuits concerning competition laws.
Among other things the company wants the court to force Apple to put Fortnite back on the App Store and re-activate Epic s developer account for App Store distribution, and prohibit Apple from preventing developers from using their own in-app payment systems.
