his claimant envoyjohn kerry. but that s the latest from glasgow on the cop26 meeting. time for the weather with ben rich. good evening. for most of us, today turned into one of those bright but rather chilly autumn days with some spells of sunshine and 1 2 showers. you can see some shower clouds popping up there for a weather watcher in west wales. the satellite picture shows that many of those showers did focus in across northern and western areas, areas exposed to the breeze. and those showers, when they did crop up, gave some pretty impressive skyscapes, some nice rainbows out there. and some of those showers will continue through tonight, especially around the coasts some of the showers wintry over the highest ground in northern scotland. not as many showers for inland spots, in fact, it ll turn really quite cold for some, down towards the south, temperatures as low as minus one celsius, allowing for a touch of frost and, for parts of england and wales, some fog patches to take
