The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection published the report "Pennsylvania’s Solar Future Plan" in 2018 detailing how the commonwealth can increase solar generation by 2030. Since then, the solar industry within the state has grown steadily, and several initiatives have been launched to continue that growth. However, there are many policies and programs that could expand solar energy access that have yet to be implemented.
