  The Nigerian government has approved the sum of $2.59billion for the development of the Badagry Deep Seaport project under a Private-Public Partnership. The project is being promoted by a company, Badagry Port Development Limited. However, checks by SaharaReporters revealed that Badagry Port Development Limited, the promoter of the project, is owned by the Adewale Tinubu and Olakunle Tinubu. Adewale is the nephew of Bola Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State, and the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress.

Organisations commit to developing Workplace Policies on HIV and AIDS with the assistance of the Ministry of Labour’s HIV Workplace Advocacy Unit Four organisations took the step to provide further protection and support for their workers by entering into Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of Labour on addressing HIV and AIDS as a workplace issue. TECU Credit Union Co-operative Society Limited, SERVOL, The Red House and Neighboring Department Credit Union Co-operative Society (RHAND) and ECOTOX Environmental Services Limited (ECOTOX), each signed the MOU at the Ministry of Labour’s Head Office in Port of Spain on March 25 th 2021.
