The GNR have successfully rescued 25 animals from an illegal kennel located in Castelo Branco.
In a press release, the Castelo Branco Territorial Command said the rescue of the animals was done through the Environmental Protection Nucleus (NPA), on 13 April. Following a complaint, the GNR went to the site where they verified an unlicensed kennel, reads the press release.
According to the GNR, the operation had the collaboration of the municipal veterinarian of Castelo Branco.
They rescued 25 dogs, 12 of which were still puppies, in facilities without conditions, with small spaces and without sunlight .
