Planning, designing, implementation, evaluation and coordination overall health promotion and protection interventions for the Ministry of Health;
Provision of guidance and support to the formulation of appropriate policies and strategies in support of the implementation of public health interventions including health promotion and protection;
Responsible for the regulation of health information dissemination in the country;
Fostering collaboration between the health and other sectors of government as well as institutions, organizations and the private sector to address the broad determinants of health;
Supporting and coordinating formulation of and/ or strengthen the implementation of national health promotion policy and national health policy, legislations or strategies for tobacco control in line with the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control;
