JOHNSTOWN Talks continue about the possible relocation of the Air Methods/LifeNet EMS air transport operation from Glen in Montgomery County o the Fulton County Airport, according to Fulton County Planning Director Scott Henze.
Henze discussed the potential project during his recent activities report before the Board of Supervisors’ Public Works Committee.
“I think it’s going to be a great asset to the airport,” Henze said of LifeNet.
Henze said engineer Travis Mitchell of Environmental Design Partnership in Clifton Park expressed an interest in taking the lead on construction of a new hangar at the Fulton County Airport off Route 67 in the town of Johnstown. He said the hangar would accommodate LifeNet, as well as provide additional hangar space for Mitchell’s own personal use.
