Clare County Council is urging people to dispose of their glass bottles and jars properly.
The holiday season typically sees an increase in household waste, with glass bottles making up a significant portion of this.
With 47 bottle banks in operation in Clare, people can dispose of their glass waste free of charge from in most communities in the county.

Clare County Council says bottle banks will be emptied more frequently over the Christmas break, and is asking people to take their waste away with them if the banks are full.
