Well, a new report from Homeland Security offers an inside look at the growing crisis at the southern border. The report details overcrowding, prolonged detention, and security risks at migrant facilities in south texas. Lawmakers are now calling on top immigration officials to testify on capitol hill. Katherine johnson is in washington. Katherine, what else does the new report say about these facilities . Well, annemarie, investigators visited phi ports of entry and to areas in the Rio Grande Valley. They say theyre concerned over the overcrowding and the detention is creating, quote, an immediate risk to the health and demonstrators around the nation protested yesterday, demanding facilities holding migrant families be closed. This as theres growing outrage over the Living Conditions at the facilities. Homeland security inspectors observed serious
