Union Minister for Education Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Wednesday will announce the schedule for JEE main exam 2021. The announcement will be made at 6 pm today.
The Minister said that he will also inform about the number of attempts for the engineering entrance test. Thank you all for sharing your constructive suggestions regarding JEE (main) exams. We have got your suggestions examined. I will be announcing the schedule, the number of times the exam will be held at 6 PM today. Stay tuned, said the Education Minister in a video message posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has announced the dates of JEE Main. The engineering entrance will be held from February 23 to 26. Also, JEE Mains will be held four times from next year- February, March, April and May.
New pattern:
In the new paper pattern introduced, there will be no negative marking in the 15 alternative questions. The candidates have to attempt 75 questions out of 90 – or 25 out of questions 30 in each section of Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.JEE Mains will be held in 13 languages from next year. These include English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Assamese, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Odia and Malayalam, Pokhriyal said.
