Reynoso Food Carts coming along
Construction crews are making progress on Reynoso Food Carts at Sunshine Corner in downtown Madras.
Israel and Blanca Reynoso, who run the store next door, are developing the lot at the corner of Fifth and D streets into a permanent structure with three commercial kitchens and a restroom, along with outdoor seating. We re still hoping to have Hispanic food, the Korean food and hopefully Italian food, Blanca said, noting that they have secured a tenant who will serve Korean food. One business will likely serve alcohol.
She said they do not know an opening date yet, but most of the framing is done on the building, and insulation and siding will begin soon.
