restrictive voter laws passed. mostly in the form of voter i.d. laws. black voters responded in historic numbers, surpassing the white vote for the first time in history. clearly when we look at that, it s a failed strategy to come at the black vote in that way. black voters do not appreciate elected officials playing games. this was a guy not expected to win the primary. he didn t have close to the money others were spending. he won it and as he did so, he s gaining a great deal of enthusiasm. heess le he s leading it s not just an african-american enthusiasm push, people like andrew gillum. that s right. and i would say with our for our partners on the ground who were doing work during the primary and who do work all the time in the state talking to voters and communities, whether it s around issues or elections,
