Street vendors receive keys to their kiosks in ex-Children’s Playground |22 December 2020
A group of 15 street vendors have received the keys to their new kiosks situated in the ex-Children’s Playground in Victoria.
This was during a short ceremony on Friday afternoon.
It was in February this year that Enterprise Seychelles Agency (Esa) started to build the 15 kiosks.
For many years now street vendors in Victoria have been at loggerheads with the authorities for overcrowding the already narrow Market Street. To improve this situation Esa came up with the initiative to accommodate these vendors and remove them from the centre of Victoria where they are not supposed to be.
