President Martha E. Pollack has established a task force to interrogate all aspects of the undergraduate admissions process and to recommend a universitywide admissions policy and best practices that will be guided by Cornell’s founding mission and can be adapted by the admissions offices of each school and college.
After becoming test-optional for certain colleges in 2021, the University will extend this policy and remain test-optional for 2023 and 2024 applicants.
As first-generation and low-income students navigate visas, travel and financial aid hardships, they call on the University for heightened support moving forward.
Students are continuing to experience delays in their financial aid packages, leaving some uncertain about their ability to afford attending this fall.
