Morning, august 27th. Dave, like you, nice cool air coming in in marin county but i have to tell you a very big smell of smoke. As we check in with mark tamayo i know it will heat up today and im afraid it will get worse. Yeah, it will not be a huge warmup but your observation is right on. We are seeing a bit more haze and smoke drifting over had this morning. And remember, we still have to spare the air alert right on through friday. The major story overnight was hurricane laura making landfall as a powerful category four storm in southwestern louisiana. Cameron, louisiana with wins of 150 miles an hour. We will be watching the storm all morning long. For us in the bay area, we have low clouds and hazy skies into the afternoon hours. The forecast i should be just a little bit warmer compared to yesterday. Yesterday was actually cooler than expected. Today a little bit of a rebound in most amateurs. So we have been in constant communication and we have heard this concern of these classes that absolutely cannot be taught virtually but they are very hand on. How can we make the classes safer . Because they cannot be done virtual. That will be part of the guidance. And its such a big piece of the other thing and that the other thing that gets lost in inperson classes is there are classes that will not be taught in the fall semester or potentially the Spring Semester that have a negative impact on Mental Health in San Francisco. A lot of our seniors take classes at City College Even with the unfortunate class cuts in physical education in, for example, pottery and ceramics that you cannot teach online. You cannot take a ceramics class online, but we cannot teach it safely inperson either currently. The work we are doing is critical for us to do this work back in the spring. And hopefully teach the important classes that have a direct Mental Health impact and positive impact on a lot o
